November 24, 2015 - MBA Hotel Brokers, Inc. announced today the sale of the Country Inn & Suites, Beckley, West Virginia for an un-disclosed price.
The Country Inn & Suites is located at 2120 Harper Road, Beckley, West Virginia. The hotel is one of the larger hotels in its brand. The hotel was built in 1997 and has 3 stories, interior corridors, and 156 rooms, including 82 suites. The hotel has a unique swim-under indoor/ outdoor pool, indoor and outdoor hot tubs, fitness room, and meeting room. In addition the property includes the Mountaineer Conference Center with nearly 7,000 sq. ft. of meeting space.
The Country Inn & Suites has a strong multi season location and is one of the top grossing hotels in the Country Inn and Suites brand. The hotel receives excellent guest reviews and is a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence Award holder. However, the hotel is in need of capital improvements to meet the current brand standards.
This was an attractive investment to multiple parties. MBA Hotel Brokers very quickly procured multiple buyers and offers. The sale closed within 15 weeks of listing the hotel. The buyer plans to continue to operate as a Country Inn & Suites.
