Best Western Wins Record-Breaking Number of Adrian Awards

PHOENIX, AZ. February 24, 2016 - Best Western® Hotels & Resorts has been awarded a record 50 Adrian awards from the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI), continuing its reign as a leader among its competitors in receiving recognition and accolades from within the industry. The HSMAI Adrian Awards are given for best practices in hospitality marketing, advertising and public relations. Of the 50 awards, Best Western earned one coveted platinum award, 25 golds, 14 silvers and 10 bronzes.

The Adrian Awards began in 1957 and consider entries from every segment of the travel and hospitality marketing industry, including hotels, airlines, cruise lines, car rental companies, destinations and credit card companies, among others. Winners are selected from a field of more than 1,200 entries by senior industry and media experts.

Best Western was awarded a HSMAI platinum award, the highest honor, for its placement of a FOX Business news segment regarding Vîb®, one of Best Western's newest brands. Vîb was designed for today's connected traveler who is looking for social engagement, technology integration and consistent service. The brand also won a number of awards in the category of advertising and marketing, including Best Western's Mom Me-Time, Dreaming of Summer and Roadtrippin campaigns. Best Western's efforts in public relations were also rewarded including recognition for several of the brand's major initiatives - Best Western Rewards, Best Western signature events and the unveiling of Vîb. Finally, the brand also received top honors in the category of digital marketing for its Route 66 campaign and the Best Western Alive! app.
