FEBRUARY 4, 2008. La Posada de Santa Fe Resort & Spa, A RockResort in Santa Fe, New Mexico, announces plans to conduct a 6.2 million dollar renovation in early 2008. Owner Gencom Group is working with Spillis Candela DMJM design firm on plans to further enhance the guestrooms and public spaces including the lobby, RockResorts SpaTM and an additional new dining venue.
As part of the interior design plan, the luxurious La Posada de Santa Fe Resort & Spa will partner with the Museum of New Mexico Foundation to incorporate indigenous fabrics. Using designs from the museum will reinforce La Posada's commitment to providing a sense-of-place that encompasses the flavor of Santa Fe. The enhancement project is scheduled to be completed in Spring 2008. Located in downtown Santa Fe, just two blocks from the city's historic Plaza, art galleries, and world-class shopping, the 157-room adobe-style resort is spread out on six lush, landscaped acres.
