Resort at Pelican Hill Appoints Leisure Sales Team
JANUARY 29, 2008. The Resort at Pelican Hill has appointed two highly experienced hospitality sales professionals to spearhead the ultra-luxury resort's leisure sales, announced Ellen Adelman, vice president of sales and marketing.
Mark Phillips is the resort's new director of leisure sales, and Abha Abbas is serving as leisure sales manager. Phillips, who has a 15-year career in luxury hospitality sales, comes to Pelican Hill from La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif., where he was director of travel industry sales. Abbas was the transient sales manager for both Shutters Hotel On The Beach and Hotel Casa del Mar, luxury sister properties in Santa Monica.
The Resort at Pelican Hill is located in Newport Coast between the chic and picturesque towns of Newport Beach and Laguna Beach.
