First Hospitality Group, Inc. Partners With Clean the World to Help Fight Hygeine-Related Dealths
FHG's participation is estimated to send more than 200,000 bars of soap annually all over the world and save over 70,000 pounds of landfill waste
ROSEMONT, Ill., March 31, 2017 — Rosemont, Ill.-based First Hospitality Group, Inc. (FHG) announced today it has partnered with Clean the World, the largest global recycler of hotel amenities, to help in its mission to collect and recycle soap and hygiene products discarded every day by the hospitality industry and other sectors that generate environmental waste. First Hospitality Group, Inc. President and CEO Robert Habeeb made the announcement.
Through its Clean the World partnership, FHG and 34 of its properties are projected to save 71,978 pounds of landfill space, provide 41,224 pounds of unused soap annually to the organization and send 219,861 bars of soap to children and families across the world.

With more than 4,000 hotel and resort partners, and 500 event partners, throughout North America, Clean the World has distributed more than 30 million bars of soap to children and families in 100 countries worldwide since 2009, while fulfilling an environmental mission by diverting 4,300 tons of hotel waste from polluting landfills in North America.
