Fontainebleau Miami Beach Enlists Nuvola to Enhance Guest Services With New Concierge System

USA, Miami, Florida. October 17, 2018

The famed Fontainebleau Miami Beach will be one of the first luxury properties to deploy a new cloud-based concierge solution developed by Nuvola, a comprehensive hotel optimization software company. The program will enhance guest services at the 1,504-room resort, allowing the concierge team to easily manage guest itineraries, reservations, room amenities, and other daily tasks in real-time.

Created by a former hotelier, Nuvola's unique development process focuses on their first-person perspective to ensure the final product is smart, intuitive, easy to use and above all, saves both time and money. Its new concierge solution supercharges a hotel's guest services department and in turn, increases both staff productivity and guest satisfaction.

"We are thrilled to be partnering with Nuvola's concierge platform," said Mary Rogers, Vice President & General Manager, Fontainebleau Miami Beach. "We're excited to see how Nuvola will help us better manage guest itineraries and customize options to enhance our guest's experience.

Seamlessly integrated with Google, Yelp and OpenTable, Nuvola Concierge provides all the tools a luxury guest services team would expect from a comprehensive platform, including the unique ability of being accessible from both mobile and desktop devices.

"Traditionally, guest services tends to work in a silo, which is never a good thing," said Juan Carlos Abello, Nuvola CEO. "Based on our experience, we knew we needed to develop a solution that would bring the concierge team into the fold, allowing them to easily streamline their processes into a hotel's broader daily operations. We're looking forward to seeing how the team at Fontainebleau incorporates Nuvola Concierge into their daily routine."

Nuvola Concierge is available as part of its larger hotel optimization program or as a standalone platform that is easily incorporated into an existing system. The product is user-friendly and intuitive with minimal training required, and still comes with Nuvola's 24/7 in-house customer support. With implementation of the Concierge module requiring less than three days, and Nuvola's nimble software development team providing consistent upgrades to the product, Fontainebleau has been able to incorporate a custom-tailored product to fit their specific needs.

Sales & Marketing: Promoting Peace of Mind

As the hotel industry transitions to a more familiar position, it is still necessary for hotels to emphasize in their marketing the health protocols they have implemented to ensure guest safety and wellness. Above all, guests need to be reassured that every precaution is being taken to safeguard their well-being. Additionally, there are other marketing strategies that hotels can implement as a way to boost their business. For example, neighborhood marketing is a tactic that relies heavily on appealing to local audiences. Incentives targeting locals can fulfill the craving that some people have for time away from home, but aren't ready to hop on a plane. Another viable strategy is to promote experiences in nature. After being stuck inside for so long, many people are looking for hotels to help them re-connect with the great outdoors. The June Hotel Business Review will focus on the marketing strategies that some hotels are adopting and how they are benefiting from them.
