The Downtown Grand Hotel & Casino Expanding With New Hotel Tower Adding 495 Guestrooms

The Grand Entrance to the Downtown Las Vegas party is about to get a little more Grand. In conjunction with the property's five-year anniversary, The Downtown Grand Hotel & Casino Las Vegas has announced expanding the footprint of its hospitality space by over 250,000 square feet in mid-2020 with the addition of a new tower.

Anchored by seven guest-room floors and adding 495 new rooms to the property's existing inventory of 629, the Downtown Grand's third tower, located on the east side of the property and flanked by Stewart and Ogden, will redefine the intersection of 4th and Ogden with clean-lines, contemporary architecture and modern suites. The sleek, detailed exterior coupled with a strengthened pedestrian view will give the property an increased street-level presence and a dynamic new entrance to the hotel's casino floor.

Since re-opening as the Downtown Grand Hotel & Casino in 2013, the hotel has become known for its spacious, contemporary rooms with unmatched views stretching from the mountains to the Las Vegas Strip.

With an emphasis on providing a boutique hotel experience for the modern traveler in Las Vegas, guests will also experience a significant increase in the suite life with a premier room list that includes 67 studio units, 20 one-bedroom suites, and three Presidential Suites each boasting nearly 1,500 square feet of living space.

“We are advancing our progressive growth plan for the Downtown Grand development as the demand for our rooms has steadily increased since our opening, and our guests continue to share their positive experiences about the Hotel, Casino, and restaurants. We believe that having over 1000 rooms will allow us to meet that new demand and provide a Downtown Las Vegas experience visitors as well as locals are seeking,” said Kevin Glass, General Manager of Downtown Grand Hotel & Casino.
