The 128-room Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott in Lakewood, Colorado is set to open on Thursday, January 31, 2019. Located at 140 South Union Boulevard, the Fairfield Inn & Suites Denver West Federal Center will operate as a Marriott franchise, developed by DCC who is the managing partner of the ownership entity, LD Lakewood Lodging, LLC and managed by Lodging Dynamics Hospitality Group of Provo, Utah.

Located in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains and 10 minutes from downtown Denver, the Fairfield Inn & Suites Denver West Federal Center offers guests convenient access to the Denver Federal Center, St. Anthony Hospital and Medical Center, and the RTD Light Rail Station. Whether traveling for business or leisure the hotel is nearby to Red Rocks Amphitheater, Bandimere Speedway, National Renewable Energy Laboratory, Coors Brewery and the Denver area sports venues. Rates are seasonal.

Human Resources: An Era of Transition

Traditionally, the human resource department administers five key areas within a hotel operation - compliance, compensation and benefits, organizational dynamics, selection and retention, and training and development. However, HR professionals are also presently involved in culture-building activities, as well as implementing new employee on-boarding practices and engagement initiatives. As a result, HR professionals have been elevated to senior leadership status, creating value and profit within their organization.
