Paramount Hotel Group Expands Management Portfolio With Addition of Four Hotels in Florida, Louisiana and Texas

Paramount Hotel Group, a full-service third-party hotel management company, announced today that it has added four properties to the growing portfolio of hotels that it has under management. They are the SpringHill Suites in Tampa, Florida, the Springhill Suites Houston Rosenberg, the Fairfield Inn & Suites Houston - Conroe, and the New Orleans Marriott Metairie in Metairie, Louisiana. Ethan Kramer, President of Paramount Hotel Group, made the announcement.

127-room Springhill Suites Tampa North/I-75 Tampa Palms: Renovated in November 2017, this SpringHill Suites features 127 rooms. Each well-appointed room features a separate living area, 43" flat screen HD TV, microwave/mini-fridge, comfortable beds with lush bedding, a large work desk and high speed Internet access. The hotel also features an outdoor pool, a fitness center, and a snack bar/deli. Free buffet breakfast is provided, as well as free WiFi in public areas, free self-parking, and a free manager's reception. Other amenities include a 24-hour business center, coffee/tea in a common area, and dry cleaning.

118-room SpringHill Suites Houston - Rosenberg: Located just south of Sugarland and Houston, this SpringHill Suites combines first-class comfort with contemporary elegance & personalized service. Situated next to the Brazos Town Center, a large development project with shopping and dining lifestyles, the SpringHill Suites by Marriott is the only all suites hotel in town. Each room features a separate living area, 37" flat screen HD TV's, microwave/mini-fridge, comfortable beds with lush bedding, high speed Internet access, large work desk. 121-room Fairfield Inn & Suites Houston - Conroe: This Art Deco hotel is located in Conroe, Texas, within a 5-minute drive of Conroe Outlet Mall and just a few miles from Lake Conroe and Sam Houston National Forest. Each of its 121 air-conditioned rooms features a refrigerator, flat-screen TV, comfortable beds with lush bedding, high speed Internet access, a large work desk and complimentary WiFi. Other highlights include complimentary hot breakfast, 24-hour fitness center, business center, as well as an outdoor pool.

220-room New Orleans Marriott Metairie at Lakeway: Designed for comfort and convenience, the New Orleans Marriott Metairie at Lakeway seamlessly blends classic style with modern tech and a great location in the hub of Metairie's CBD. Well-appointed rooms include free WiFi, plush bedding, and views of Lake Pontchartrain or the New Orleans skyline. The hotel also offers 10,564 square feet of flexible meeting space. The Bistreaux Restaurant features locally sourced ingredients and Chef-crafted southern specialties and the Market offers Starbucks coffee and specialty beverages along with light snacks and grab ‘n go breakfast and lunch items. Hotel Group Meetings: Uncommon Destinations

The last few years have been good to the Hotel Group Meetings industry and that trend is expected to continue into 2019. Planners are brimming with confidence due to an expanding economy and increased job creation, which typically results in a boost in corporate meetings. Given this promising outlook, planners are trying to outdo themselves to satisfy the high expectations of their clients. One notable trend is to integrate unusual settings into the meeting experience, hosting groups at local zoos, aquariums, museums, event centers, or other outdoor facilities. The goal is to embrace uncommon destinations, rather than a typical hotel conference room, so that meetings can be memorable, unique and stimulating. This is also part of another trend which is to support all things local - from hosting events at landmark city venues; to catering through local restaurants, food trucks and microbreweries; to hosting off-site excursions like agri-tours, athletic events or scenic 5k routes. However, though the setting might be spectacular, there are still some bedrock components that must be provided to ensure a successful meeting. Free, high-speed Wi-Fi is still one of the most requested services. Planners have to make sure that a comprehensive communication infrastructure is in place so clients can easily connect - and stay connected - to the network throughout the entire meeting experience. Also, technology tools can be used to streamline the booking, registration, and check-in process, and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) materials can be utilized to ensure seamless access to conference events.
