DECEMBER 20, 2007.Foxwoods Development Company, the commercial gaming arm of the Connecticut-based Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation, has appointed an experienced business professional to assist in the development of new business opportunities.

The appointment of Kimberly Lewis, who holds a graduate degree from the University of Phoenix, was announced today by Gary Armentrout, managing director for Foxwoods Development, whose office is here.

"We're pleased to bring a person of Kimberly's stature aboard as we continue to expand our business," Armentrout said. "She brings a wealth of experience in business development with the Gila River Indian Community of Arizona, where she is an enrolled member."

Armentrout said Ms. Lewis will be involved in the various projects Foxwoods Development has from southern California to Philadelphia, among others. Her duties will include market research on acquisition opportunities, strategic and qualitative analysis, negotiation with potential business partners, and representing FDC in public forums.

Prior to joining Foxwoods Development, Ms. Lewis served as general manager of the Wild Horse Pass Development Authority. Her work there involved oversight of the land development, leasing and entitlement process of a 2,400 acre commercial mixed use park.

"I look forward to the challenge Foxwoods Development Company presents, from reservation-based business development to building businesses in urban areas," she said. "The Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation has been a leader in Indian gaming since 1992, and more recently has expanded its reach to the commercial gaming and hospitality areas. I look forward to bringing my experience to assist the tribe in its own development initiatives."

While working for her own tribe in Arizona, Ms. Lewis dedicated much of her career to helping fulfill her tribe's development initiatives and reaching its goals. Her contributions include:

---| Development of its three-story, 76,500 sq. ft. commercial office building;

---| Executive oversight of a 500-room hotel renovation and oversight of its resort ballroom expansion.

---| Financial and asset management of the tribe's destination resort and spa;

---| Providing the same kind of professional services for its 36-hole golf facility.

---| Responsibility for development of its 3.5-acre gas station and 4,200 sq. ft. convenience store that included design and construction.

In addition to earning a master's degree in organizational management from the University of Phoenix, she also has a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications from Arizona State University.
