BLLA Opens The 2022 Boutique Hotel Sentiment Survey for Input by The World’s Boutique Hoteliers

This is The 7th Annual Edition of The Survey Which is a Highly Coveted Report on The Industry for Independent Boutique Hotels and Collections

USA, Los Angeles, California. May 06, 2022

The Boutique Lifestyle Leaders Association (BLLA) is committed to enlightening and uplifting the community of boutique hotels and businesses through research, whitepapers, and surveys. The goal of this year's Boutique Hotel Sentiment Survey is to assess the state of the global boutique hotel sector over the past 12 months.

This survey poses pertinent questions that are categorized within distinct megatrends, including Labor Shortage, Digital Transformation, and Environmental Care & Political Instability.

The data gathered from the BLLA Hotel Sentiment Survey will allow us to thoughtfully reflect on the opportunities and challenges of the past year, as well as look ahead to the future and formulate strategies to propel the growth of the Boutique Community.

The deadline to complete the survey is June 6, 2022, by end of the day. The first 100 submissions from authenticated boutique hotels will be eligible for a random drawing of a complimentary ticket to either the June 8 Boutique Hotel Investment Conference in New York or the October 24-25 Boutique Hotel Owners Conference in Los Angeles, both a $1,795 value. You must be a boutique hotelier in order to be entered in the drawing. Contact [email protected] if you are unsure of your eligibility.

Being the original organization for boutique hotels and businesses since 2009, the Boutique Lifestyle Leaders Association was created to unify, empower, educate and advocate for a growing community of creators within the dynamic realm of the boutique lifestyle - not only establishing and maintaining industry standards but boldly advancing its cultural impact and category innovation.

Sales & Marketing: Integrating Technology

The Sales & Marketing department is responsible for maximizing a hotel's revenue by developing programs to increase occupancy and to make profitable use of its meeting and leisure facilities. Increasingly, managers are utilizing sophisticated digital technology to help them achieve those goals. Virtual Reality is being integrated into booking engines which provide potential guests the opportunity to tour a property from afar, including wedding, event and food & beverage facilities. Voice Search has also become a popular marketing tool. Using smart home devices, it's now possible for customers to book hotels entirely through voice commands. Chatbots are becoming more ubiquitous as hotels seek to refine their online customer service. Chatbots can answer common questions, push key marketing messages, increase direct bookings, and even guide customers through the booking process. Finally, hotels are already preparing for the debut of the Metaverse and planning how sales and marketing departments will fully participate. The June Hotel Business Review will focus on the sales and marketing strategies that some hotels are adopting and how they are benefiting from them.
