The Eliza Jane Appoints Nicole Maxwell as New Director of Sales and Marketing
The Eliza Jane announced the appointment of Nicole Maxwell as director of sales and marketing. In her role, Maxwell will drive growth and visibility for the property by leading all sales and marketing initiatives. The 196-room boutique hotel in New Orleans is made up of several historic warehouses, with its unique programming, amenities and design paying homage to its storied past as a gunpowder company, bitters distillery and printing house for the city's famed Daily Picayune newspaper.
"We're delighted to welcome Nicole to The Eliza Jane team," said Michael O'Shaughnessy, area managing director at Makeready, an experience-driven hospitality company that operates The Eliza Jane. "With her extensive knowledge, we know she will curate memorable stays for guests and bring a fresh perspective to the property. We can't wait to see all that she accomplishes."
Maxwell will oversee all sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue and maximize occupancy at The Eliza Jane. She'll collaborate across departments to strategically market the hotel, drive sales performance and strategy, and oversee group business, banquets and catering. With over 20 years of hospitality experience, she brings a wealth of expertise to her new role. Prior to joining The Eliza Jane team, Maxwell was the director of sales at various hotels in New Orleans, including NOPSI Hotel, Troubadour Hotel, Hilton St. Charles and Four Points by Sheraton.
"The Eliza Jane is a truly exceptional property, with a team who is committed to providing a fantastic guest experience with genuine Southern hospitality," said Maxwell. "Being born and raised in New Orleans, I take great pride in sharing the city's culture, events and everything in between with locals and visitors alike, and I'm excited to showcase all The Eliza Jane has to offer while in my new role."
The Eliza Jane is just steps away from the French Quarter and provides guests the ideal space to come back home to and relax following a day on the town. Visitors can dine at the onsite restaurant Couvant, serving French-Southern fusion cuisine, or enjoy light bites and cocktails at the lobby bar, The Press Room.
