East West Hospitality Appoints New Executive Leadership
East West Hospitality, the award-winning hospitality services company specializing in luxury vacation rentals, resorts, and private residences, is pleased to announce key leadership updates with the appointment of Kevin Graham as Chief Development Officer (CDO) and the promotion of Ryan MacLachlan to Chief Operating Officer (COO). These moves reflect the company's commitment to strengthening its operations while strategically positioning itself for thoughtful, long-term growth.
"We are thrilled to recognize Kevin and Ryan with these important leadership roles," said Colleen Weiss-Hanen, CEO of East West Hospitality. "Kevin's proven track record of strategic growth and relationship building, combined with Ryan's ability to drive operational excellence while cultivating a strong team culture, strengthens our executive team in a way that positions East West Hospitality for long-term success. Their leadership reflects our core values and will guide us as we continue to grow thoughtfully while delivering the highest level of hospitality to our guests, owners, and team members."
Graham began his career with the company in 1996 in acquisitions and has since built a remarkable track record within East West Hospitality and the hospitality industry as a whole. He previously served as Chief Operating Officer, where he oversaw company-wide operations and played a central role in shaping East West Hospitality's operational strategy and culture. In his new role as CDO, he will focus on identifying and pursuing strategic growth opportunities in a deliberate and targeted way, working closely with developers, HOAs, condo hotels, and markets to expand East West Hospitality's portfolio while ensuring the company delivers on its commitments. His leadership will be instrumental in driving sustainable expansion that reflects the company's values and long-term vision, while creating meaningful opportunities for team members and strengthening the overall guest experience.
East West Hospitality has also promoted longtime leader Ryan MacLachlan to Chief Operating Officer. MacLachlan, who joined the company in 2020 as part of an acquisition, most recently served as Vice President of Operations, leading East West Hospitality's prestigious Beaver Creek properties, including The Charter, St. James Place, and The Borders Lodge. With more than 20 years of industry experience, he brings a proven track record of operational excellence, strategic vision, and people-first leadership. As COO, he will oversee the overall operations and strategic alignment of East West Hospitality's diverse resort property portfolio across Beaver Creek, Vail, Tahoe, Snowmass, Utah, and South Carolina.
MacLachlan's career began in Beaver Creek in 2005, and he has held leadership positions with Wyndham and Vacasa. He was recognized in 2023 with East West Hospitality's prestigious Bowker Leadership Award, honoring his commitment to curiosity, integrity, and humility. Known for his collaborative style and commitment to innovation, he has played an instrumental role in strategic growth initiatives, capital project execution, and enhancing the company's presence across Colorado's resort communities. Outside of work, MacLachlan is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys exploring Colorado's mountain trails with his wife and three children.
