Stay Jay and Pride Begin Construction on Holiday Inn Express

PORTLAND,IN, August 23, 2007. Pride Hospitality is proud to announce that construction has begun on a 73 room Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Portland, Indiana.
This project is owned by Stay Jay Hotels, LLC that was established by Scott and Su Daniels and a group of investors. Scott Daniels, President, was raised in Portland and is excited about coming back to his hometown. He stated that "he is honored to be able to come back to his town and complete a project that will benefit the community."

Jay County currently has 160 rooms in the County. The addition of this Holiday Inn Express & Suites will bring a much needed lift to the lodging community of this county. The construction of the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Hotel is expected to be completed by summer of 2008.
The Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Portland will offer many amenities including a complimentary Express Start(R) Breakfast Bar, Heated Indoor Pool with a beautiful outdoor patio and a fitness center. All of the guest rooms will be equipped with Flat Panel TVs with cable and HBO and the standard amenities like iron and ironing board. The hotel will also have Whirlpool Suites, Kid Suites, and Family Suites.
