Delafield Hotel Names GM
JULY 13, 2007. Kristin Timmer has been named General Manager of The Delafield Hotel in Delafield, Wisconsin. In this capacity, she will oversee all aspects of the hotel operation.
Prior to joining The Delafield Hotel on July 9, 2007, Ms. Timmer was the Director of Catering at the Pfister Hotel. Previous to this, she spent 14 years in the private Club industry most recently as the General Manager of the Milwaukee Yacht Club from 2004-2006 and prior to that as General Manager of the Woman's Club of Milwaukee for seven years. She has also worked at Kenosha Country Club, Kenosha, WI and Duck Lake Country Club, Albion, MI.
Ms. Timmer is a graduate of UW-Milwaukee where she earned a bachelors degree in Fine Arts - Graphic Design. She became a Certified Club Manager (CCM) in 2001 and has been a member of the Club Managers Association of America (CMAA) since 1993. She currently serves as a Director for the Wisconsin Club Managers Foundation. She is a resident of Wauwatosa.
