IHG Announces Crowne Plaza Hotel Opening in Miami

Conversion brings Crowne Plaza's second hotel to Miami, in the upscale Kendall area

ATLANTA, GA, June 26, 2007. IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) [LON: IHG, NYSE:IHG (ADRs)], the world's largest hotel group by number of rooms, announced today that a 156-room Crowne Plaza hotel in Miami has recently opened. The Crowne Plaza Miami Kendall is owned by Philip Scutieri and managed by Kendall Hotel & Suites, LLC, under a license agreement with a company in the InterContinental Hotels Group.

The hotel is conveniently located adjacent to Baptist Hospital of Miami. Other major businesses such as AvMed Health Plans, GE Healthcare and Noven Pharmaceuticals are located nearby. Key area attractions include University of Miami, Dadeland Mall and the Everglades. The hotel is within driving distance to both downtown Miami and Key West.

The Crowne Plaza Miami Kendall will feature the Crowne Plaza Sleep Advantage program, which is available at all Crowne Plaza hotels in the Americas.
