Taj Opens Second Hotel in Kolkata
KOLKATA, India, June 25, 2007. The Indian Hotels Company Ltd (IHCL), which owns Taj Hotels Resorts & Palaces, has entered into a management contract with Jalan Intercontinental Hotels for a Gateway Hotel in Kolkata.
According to the Economic Tines this will be the second property of Taj Hotels in Kolkata.
IHCL will operate the new hotel under the Taj Business Hotels brand and it could be operational by the end of 2009.
The Gateway Hotel will have 200 rooms and will be located at the Rashbehari Connector Junction.
