Hotel to Re-Open Fall 2007 after $28 Million Renovation

DALLAS, TX, June 8, 2007. "The Stoneleigh Hotel & Spa in Uptown Dallas is proud to announce its leadership team of Managing Director John Langston, Director of Sales and Marketing Gretchen Stofer Darby, and Chef David Bull," said Jeff Trigger, founder and president of La Corsha Hospitality Group, who will be responsible for managing the hotel. The Stoneleigh Hotel & Spa is owned by Dallas-based Prescott Realty Group and New York-based Apollo Real Estate Advisors.

The Stoneleigh Hotel & Spa is currently undergoing a $28 million restoration and construction is also underway on the adjacent Tower Residences at The Stoneleigh Hotel, a new 22-story luxury residential high-rise.

A renowned luxury hotelier, Jeff Trigger is leading The Stoneleigh Hotel & Spa toward a Fall 2007 re-opening and looking forward to extending the hospitality of this legendary property to his many former clients and guests from Dallas and beyond. "The Stoneleigh Hotel & Spa is such a magnificent and historic architectural landmark that I consider it a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to help restore the hotel's unique ambiance which has been shaped by famous guests and designers," said Mr. Trigger.

Managing Director John Langston, a Dallas area native, is helping shape The Stoneleigh Hotel & Spa's restoration, working with chefs to create the food and beverage facilities and directing the hotel's marketing. Mr. Langston will also be responsible for residents' services at The Tower Residences at The Stoneleigh Hotel & Spa, a 21-story luxury high-rise condominium now under construction adjacent to the hotel. Prior to joining The Stoneleigh Hotel & Spa, Mr.Langston was resident manager of The Driskill Hotel in Austin, Texas. Mr. Langston's earlier luxury hotel experience in Dallas includes service at both The Mansion on Turtle Creek as food and beverage director and The Hotel Crescent Court as director of catering.

The Stoneleigh Hotel & Spa's new Director of Sales and Marketing is Gretchen Stofer Darby, who will be responsible for implementing sales and marketing strategies and increasing exposure for the historical Dallas icon. Previously, Ms. Stofer Darby served as the Regional Director of Brand Marketing for Hotel ZaZa Dallas and Houston. Since joining Hotel ZaZa in 2002, she has been instrumental in securing the hotel's popular reputation among celebrity clientele of international acclaim from the entertainment, sports, fashion and culinary industries since its opening. Throughout her career, Ms. Stofer Darby has held leadership roles in a variety of professional and community associations, such as DFW Chapter of Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (Member of Board 2003), Luxury Marketing Council of DFW, DFW Business Travel Association and the Uptown Dallas Association. A former member of the world famous Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders for two seasons, Ms. Stofer Darby holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin.

For The Stoneleigh Hotel & Spa, Chef David Bull is developing a signature restaurant and catering for the Hotel's renowned penthouse, as well as overseeing all food and beverage services. Honored as one of Food and Wine Magazine's "Best New Chefs in 2003," Chef Bull went on to win national acclaim for his work at the five-star Driskill Grill, which was named Austin's number one restaurant for three straight years by the Austin American-Statesman and one of the top 50 hotel restaurants in the U. S. Nominated by the James Beard Foundation as "Best Chef in the Southwest," Chef Bull's numerous awards and accolades also earned him the opportunity to appear on the Food Network's "Iron Chef America." After graduating from the Culinary Institute of America in 1994, Chef Bull was hired by The Mansion on Turtle Creek and moved through the ranks to become the youngest sous-chef ever employed by the Dallas hotel.
