FastBooking Signs with ViaMichelin.com
JUNE 7, 2007. FastBooking, a specialist in online hotel reservations has just signed an agreement with ViaMichelin for the integration of all of its client hotels on the European website of the number one trip-planning assistant.
Since 29 May, Internet users searching for a hotel via a European version of ViaMichelin have been offered, among the available hotels listed by the site, any one of 3,000 hotels included in the FastBooking database. A link then directs them to www.fastbooking.com , where they can finalize their reservation with the help of the powerful FastBooking Engine.
Offering its clients new reservation opportunities
For the past few years, the 3,000 hotels equipped with the FastBooking reservation engine already benefit from the important B-to-C distribution programme reserved for them: their own network of 50 sites for hotel booking by destination, the multi-destination FastBooking.com portal, as well as the GoVoyages network.
This European-scale partnership with ViaMichelin represents a new stage in FastBooking's strategy to increase the visibility of its partner hotels among a highly qualified clientele and to offer these same hotels the possibility of greatly increasing their reservations. ViaMichelin currently claims a monthly traffic of more than 13.5 million individual visitors*, and an average of 1.5 million visits for hotel booking.
Thanks to links to its website, FastBooking also hopes to channel a large amount of Internet traffic to its eponymous website and in turn increase its notoriety.
Selective multiplication of distribution channels
With ever increasing reservation volumes generated by its B-to-C distribution programmes (+49% for the first 5 months of 2007 as compared to 2006), FastBooking is determined to continue growing via this activity. One of the company's priorities remains increasing the number of distribution channels by sector for the main European destinations.
