Ringhotels Renews Long Standing Relationship with SynXis
German Hotel Chain migrates 135 properties to RedX and Benefits from International Features
SOUTHLAKE, TX, May 31, 2007. SynXis, the Sabre Holdings business that provides hotel reservation management, distribution and technology services globally, announced today that one of the leading German hotel chains, Ringhotels, has upgraded its 135 members to the RedX Distribution Management System and extended its longstanding partnership with SynXis for three additional years. Ringhotels has used the SynXis CRS as its single distribution platform since 2001 and during that time has seen steady growth including as much as 15% year over year increases in same store GDS transactions. With their recent migration to RedX, Ringhotels has access to powerful features such as sophisticated channel management functionality, numerous direct connects to third party travel sites with the RedX Channel ConnectSM product, dynamic packaging, multi-currency capabilities, a multi-language booking engine and a German language version of the RedX Control Center.
In addition to using RedXfor GDS distribution (under the RX Chain code), Ringhotels uses RedX to distribute their inventory to popular consumer travel sites and to power bookings made through their own website (www.ringhotels.de). Ringhotels also uses Voice Agent, the RedXcall center platform, for their own reservation centers giving the hotel chain a true single image of inventory.
