Marriott Execustay Awarded GSA Contract

(NYSE:MAR) is pleased to announce their contract award by the General Services Administration (GSA). On April 25, 2007, the GSA signed a contract naming Marriott ExecuStay the first government approved corporate housing provider under their multiple awards schedule program.
The five-year contact, with three renewable 5-year option periods, is estimated to be worth $5 million in sales annually. GSA data indicates that federal agencies spend more than $150 million for corporate housing services per year. The contract is a win-win for both the government and Marriott ExecuStay - providing streamlined ordering procedures for temporary housing stays of 30+ days, flexible housing options, and cost savings. It also gives decision makers the confidence in knowing that Marriott ExecuStay is a high caliber industry professional selected using strict criteria.
