Americas Best Value Inn Adds 63 Properties
January 1 to April 30, 2007 proves to be record-breaking for the hotel chain
MAY *, 2007. From Amsterdam, NY to Martinez, CA, Americas Best Value Inn is continuing its fast growing trek across North America by adding 63 new properties to the brand between January 1, 2007 and April 30, 2007.
Texas and California have the most new Americas Best Value Inn properties flying the ABVI flag. Canada added its ninth Canadas Best Value Inn with the addition of a 64-room hotel in Miramichi, New Brunswick (NB).
While most of the 63 new additions are conversions from other chains and independent hotels, there are three new construction projects underway. With the recent introduction of a 40-room prototype and a 61-room prototype, new constructions of Americas Best Value Inns are expected to grow quickly in the coming years.
'We signed 63 new properties in the first 17 weeks of the year,' said Roger Bloss, CEO, President and Founder of Americas Best Value Inn and Vantage Hospitality. 'That averages out to four properties per week or almost one property per business day since this year began. That is absolutely incredible when you think about it!'
'Obviously, the need for hotel owners to have more control over their operations and to have a voice and a vote in the brand's direction has continued to grow,' said Bloss. 'In fact, our numbers prove there is more demand than ever for hotel owners to join a brand, like Americas Best Value Inn, that will offer them a great deal of independence yet provide them with all the opportunities and resources necessary to increase their ROI.'
