HP Hotels Welcomes New VPO Jeff Schneider
FEBRUARY 5, 2008. HP Hotels, a multi-brand hotel management company based out of Birmingham AL, announces the addition of a new Vice President of Operations, Mr. Jeff Schneider. Mr. Schneider comes to HP Hotels with over twenty five years of hospitality experience. Throughout his career he has managed numerous properties including Hyatt, Hilton, Radisson, Holiday Inn and Choice as well as having managed upscale boutique and independent resort hotels and conference centers. Schneider has held regional operations positions with MEI Hotels and Doramar Hotels.
Mr. Schneider creates both an upbeat and cheerful work environment throughout the infectious quality of his own good nature and manages the bottom line of the hotels very strictly. Jeff summed up the strength of his interpersonal skills best when he simply says, "People like to work for me."
Schneider has a history of community involvement with his hotels and has a long history of participation in BNI (Business Network Information) and Rotary Chapters. He has been awarded General Manager of the Year through the Mile High Chapter of HSMAI and has held leadership roles with Rotary International.
A native of Westchester County, NY, Schneider is a graduate from the University of New Hampshire with a BS in Administration and a minor is Psychology. Jeff is married to Emily and they have a four year son named Henry. Other than his precious family time, Jeff likes to snow ski, boat and watch football.
This new addition to the management team with HP Hotels is followed by Kerry Ranson, former Vice President of Operations being promoted to President and CEO. Mike Hines, former President of HP Hotels is now President of HP Properties, the development side of the two divisional companies.
