NH Hoteles Renews Agreement with Trust International
Europes 3rd Largest Hotel Group
FRANKFURT, Germany, February 6, 2008. Trust International a global provider of technology and distribution solutions for the hospitality industry, today announced the renewal of its central reservation system (CRS), global distribution system (GDS) and Internet distribution channels (IDS) services agreement with NH Hoteles, the third largest European business hotel group. NH Hoteles operates 340 hotels with 50,204 rooms in 22 countries in Europe, America and Africa, including 26 Jolly Hotels.
NH Hoteles is using the Trust|Voyager CRS - one of the industry's most reliable and comprehensive web-based reservation systems - for distribution by linking their internal reservation system with the Trust network. This solution allows their hotels to work within their own environment yet have access to the latest functionalities available for GDS and Internet distribution and thereby achieve immediate, accurate distribution to the most important points of sale. The Trust|Voyager CRS technology ensures a seamless and efficient process, and the reliable system platform enables the brand to maintain strong bonds with travel intermediaries and travelers worldwide.
"We look forward to continuing our relationship with Trust International and to further strengthening NH's reputation as one of the best European hotel chains," said I~nigo Onieva, Corporate Officer Marketing & E-Distribution of NH Hoteles. "With the reliable and innovative Trust|Voyager CRS we have been able to support the expansion of the NH brand at its best."
NH Hoteles successfully integrated all of its recently acquired Jolly Hotels properties into the systems in two months, including corporate agreements and two-way interface connectivity between NH's internal reservation system and Trust|Voyager CRS, Brand Web, web sites, web shoppers and agencies. In the past two years, through the GDS and IDS, NH's number of reservations booked has grown more than 20% and total revenue has increased more than 26% each year, independent of its purchase of Jolly Hotels.
"NH Hoteles expects quality and service from its service providers and we are proud to continue our relationship with such a well-respected hotel group, allowing them to focus on their core business and ongoing growth," commented Richard Wiegmann, Chief Operating Officer, Trust International. "Trust|Voyager's flexibility is well-suited to meet NH's need to work within their own environment, yet leverage all the benefits of our state-of-the-art reservation technology while maintaining low overall cost-per-transaction."
