Grand Heritage Re-launches GH Code
Also Renews use of Pegasus' HotelFactory CRS, Voice and Distribution Services
DALLAS, TX / PORTLAND, OR, August 18, 2006. Grand Heritage Hotel Group has re-launched its Private Label booking code; GH. Grand Heritage will use the new code to increase brand awareness for its growing network of independent luxury hotels and resorts. A customer of the Unirez by PegasusTM service since 2001, Grand Heritage will continue to use Pegasus' HotelFactoryTM central reservation system (CRS), Pegasus' call center voice services, and online and GDS distribution. Dallas-based Pegasus Solutions is a global leader in providing technology and services to hotels and travel distributors.
The transition to the GH code will be complete with the four major global distribution systems in August and will enable Grand Heritage to further distinguish itself in the marketplace. "At our current rate of growth both domestically and internationally, it made great sense for us to launch our private label in order to provide our owners with a robust and sustainable flow of bookings, while enhancing our customer experience and increasing our brand awareness and loyalty at the same time," said Bashar Wali, vice president of Grand Heritage.
In addition to the chain code, the companies' new agreement will extend Grand Heritage's use of the HotelFactory CRS, a fully hosted suite of management and distribution tools with an integrated Internet booking engine. Grand Heritage will also maintain reservation services through Pegasus' call centers worldwide, and online and GDS distribution services.
