CSM Opens Residence Inn by Marriott in Plymouth, MN

MINNEAPOLIS, MN, April 18, 2008. On April 15th, CSM Lodging opened a Residence Inn by Marriott in Plymouth, MN, the company's sixteenth Marriott hotel in the Minneapolis area. This 119-room hotel will be one of the first in the newest generation of Residence Inns that combines the comforts of contemporary home life with the amenities of an upscale, extended stay hotel.
Modern d'ecor, fully-equipped kitchens, and technology-focused guestrooms are the most prominent features of the Residence Inn Minneapolis Plymouth. In addition to the signature HomeTouch(c) hot breakfast buffet, the hotel's facilities and services include a green-friendly saline swimming pool, both wired and wireless public spaces and guestrooms, iPod/MP3 docking stations in each room, and responsive, accurate guest services.

The Residence Inn Minneapolis Plymouth is a part of CSM's multi-million dollar mixed-use development, Plymouth Pointe, and is located on the corner of highway 494 and county road 55 adjacent to the West Health Facility. Plymouth Pointe contains a variety of chic shops and restaurants.

Michelle Rein, the hotel's general manager, was born and raised in Plymouth and obtained her Bachelor's degree in Hospitality and Tourism from the University of Wisconsin, Stout. She has been in the hospitality industry since 1992 working as operations manager, assistant general manager and, most recently, in general manager positions. She has been with CSM Lodging for the past ten years and has primarily served as a General Manager for Residence Inn properties, most recently at the Residence Inn in Roseville before taking on the role of opening the new Residence Inn Plymouth.
