Microtel Breaks Ground in Manchester, TN

. October 14, 2008

MAY 9, 2008. A Microtel Inn & Suites hotel has broken ground at 201 Expressway Drive in Manchester, Tennessee, off I-24 at Exit 114. The hotel, the first new property to be built in the area since 2001, is owned by the Tennessee Hospitality Group, Inc. of Brentwood, Tennessee in partnership with the developer, CKSAN, Inc., and is expected to open in October of this year. It is located nearby to the Manchester/Coffee County Conference Center and the Bonnaroo Outdoor Festival Grounds, with the top-grossing festival in North America. Microtel is the Atlanta-based chain of all-new construction, interior corridor economy/limited service hotels.

The Manchester hotel will showcase Microtel's contemporary and award-winning prototype design that is setting a new standard for hotel guests and defining the economy hotel of the future, with unexpected enhancements that guests would not ordinarily expect to find in an economy hotel.

"The Manchester and Coffee County communities are growing rapidly and we are excited to break ground on the first new hotel that this area has seen in more than seven years," said Kelvin Jones, owner of the new hotel. "Microtel is a natural fit for business and leisure travelers looking for quality, clean and safe accommodations at affordable prices."

Jones added, "The Microtel brand has a history of success and recognition, consistently ranked highest among economy hotels." For the sixth consecutive year, Microtel has been ranked highest in guest satisfaction among economy hotel chains in the J.D. Power and Associates 2007 North America Hotel Guest Satisfaction Index StudySM.

The 62-room Manchester Microtel Inn & Suites - with single, double and suite accommodations - will provide all guests with free local and free long distance phone calls anywhere within the continental U.S., free WiFi, and Microtel's new complimentary Get Up and JoeTM continental daily breakfast and 24-hour coffee and tea. All rooms will also feature the stylish new Microtel bedding known as Dream WellTM with a plush pillow-top mattress, fitted bed skirt, triple sheeting and high quality linens.

In addition, the three-story hotel will boast a contemporary and streamlined environment. All guestrooms will feature flat-panel LCD HD televisions with CNN, HBO and ESPN; sleek granite countertops; desk units equipped with easily accessible power and data ports, and a microfridge in suites. The hotel's rich "Cappuccino" color palette will create a comfortable, inviting atmosphere with a consistent theme throughout. Suites will be divided into four zones - with ample space to work, eat, sleep and relax - and feature Microtel's new signature MicroKitchenTM.

There will also be an on-site fitness center, business center, meeting room and swimming pool.
