Sterling Resorts to Manage The Shores of Panama
New vacation destination to feature one of the largest pools on the Gulf Coast
PANAMA CITY BEACH, FL, July 28, 2005. Sterling Resorts announced today that they have been selected to manage the operations of the Emerald Coast's newest vacation destination ~ The Shores of Panama. Sterling Resorts has signed a 10-year management contract with the developer of The Shores of Panama, Breland Corporation.
Scheduled to open in summer 2006, The Shores of Panama is one of the largest condominium projects in the area, boasting more than 700 units. It will be located directly on the gulf in Panama City Beach along the beautiful Florida Emerald Coast, famous for its sugar-sand beaches, restaurants, shopping and nightlife. The resort will offer tropical elegance with 468 feet of Gulf shore frontage, more than 20,000 square feet of pools, and an indoor spa, sauna and steam room. Other amenities include a wide variety of floor plans from which to choose, two fitness centers and health bars, a party and media room and an electronic game room.
The Shores of Panama will be a unique experience. The featured attraction, an 18,000 square foot lagoon pool, will offer 30,000 square feet of deck, fountains, tropical landscaping, two Tiki bars and quiet, secluded nooks where guests and owners can lounge quietly and enjoy the solitude. Valet attendants will greet guests upon arrival and bellmen will assist with luggage transport, services not currently available at any other established condominium resort in the area.

Construction is well underway and consists of two stages. Anticipated to be complete in 2006, the multi-floored structure will feature a "U-shaped" design that envelops the lagoon pool, nestling along the Gulf front. Units will be available in efficiency, 1, 2, & 3 bedroom styles and will feature upscale furniture and fixtures. Select units are still available.
