Microtel Breaks Ground in Woodstock, Ontario, Canada
JUNE 17, 2008. Ontarinns Inc. of Toronto has broken ground on a 74-room Microtel Inn & Suites hotel at 811 Athlone Avenue in Woodstock, Ontario, Canada. The hotel - scheduled to open in early 2009 - is located at the intersection of Highways 401 and 403 in a rapidly growing area of Ontario. Nearby are Woodstock Raceway & Slots, Fanshawe College, and Toyota Motor Manufacturing of Canada.

The three-story Microtel Inn & Suites in Woodstock will offer single, double and suite accommodations. With the new design, the hotel's color palette will integrate rich, deep colors to create a comfortable, inviting atmosphere and consistent theme throughout. All guestrooms will feature a flat-panel television with 32 channels and ESPN, sleek granite countertops, and desk units with easily accessible power and data ports. Suites, equipped with Microtel's signature MicroKitchenTM, will be divided into four 'zones' with ample space to work, eat, sleep and relax.
Amenities will include free WIFI in all guestrooms; free local calls and phones with data port and voice mail; Microtel's new complimentary Get Up and JoeTM daily continental breakfast, an indoor swimming pool; fitness center; meeting room, and guest laundry. There are currently 331 Microtel hotels open and under construction worldwide.
