SEPTEMBER 17, 2008. It is the first and only internationally branded hotel in Izhevsk - the capital of the Udmurt Republic, located on the river Izh in the Western Urals area. Izhevsk has 632,000 inhabitants and is an important steel mill centre, it also manufactures forest products, machinery and armaments.

The new built Park Inn Izhevsk is located on the central square in the historical and cultural heart of the city, adjacent to the State Opera & Ballet Theatre and the Kalashnikov museum. The 161 guestrooms show a cool contemporary design and are equipped with flat screen satellite TV, wireless internet access, mini bar, safe and chic Italian furniture. In the lobby guests admire a 9-metre high wall of 52 light tubes in the distinctive red, yellow, green and blue colours of Park Inn - Rezidor's young, fresh and dynamic mid market brand. Also the public areas are featuring Italian designer furniture, and staff members are fitted in uniforms by Fraizzoli of Italy. The hotel also offers a restaurant, a bar, a conference hall of 120 square meters, two meeting rooms, and a fitness area including small swimming pool.
