Upgrades Continue as Central Reservation System Passes Implementation Midpoint

. October 14, 2008

DALLAS, TX, October 2, 2008. Pegasus Solutions, Inc. has completed the upgrade of nearly 5,000 properties to RezView(R) NG, its next generation central reservations system. Reaching the halfway point in the company's rollout of the much anticipated reservation platform, Pegasus has confirmed 9,000 hotels will be upgraded before the end of the year - an unprecedented feat in the hospitality industry. More than 100 groups have been implemented recently including Hospitality International Inc., Gaylord Entertainment and Great Hotels Organisation.

As the first significant redesign of central reservatio

ns in 20 years, RezView NG offers hotels an enterprise solution that provides chains, representation companies and independent hotels with a one-stop shop for easy management of room and non-room item inventory, status, restrictions, pricing and policies. Currently Pegasus is upgrading its hotel customers receiving Unirez reservation services via the HotelFactory platform to RezView NG. Mike Kistner, CEO of Pegasus, who has been key to the development and implementation of RezView NG, said the aggressive rollout is one for the record books.

"After upgrading 4,500 properties, most companies would have declared global victory, but we set out to fix reservations for the industry, which is why we're building on this momentum," said Kistner. "With Pegasus' customers, team and resources we can break through limitations faced by other companies to ensure we deliver the best CRS, manage the upgrades and training, and ultimately, improve the business of the hotels we're working with."

RezView NG also offers dynamic packaging, universal integration with external applications and operation in multiple languages. For Chris Guimbellot, Manager of Information Technology for Georgia-based Hospitality International, these features were attractive given their direct revenue benefit to the company's 262 hotel franchises that have upgraded to RezView NG, including select Scottish Inns, Red Carpet Inn, Master Host Inns, Passport Inn and Downtowner Inns.

"The transition to RezView NG will empower our franchisees to capitalize on more intuitive rate and availability structures. Also, the Concierge feature allows for up-selling and dynamic packaging from within the booking engine, which I believe will be reflected directly in the bottom lines of our properties."

RezView NG was developed based on the stability of Pegasus' existing CRS platform, RezView classic, which in 2007 boasted an industry-leading 99.997 percent availability for the year, and response times averaging under a tenth of a second. Additionally, the new CRS platform incorporates software, technology and expertise Pegasus secured through its 2007 acquisition of GuestClick, which have empowered RezView NG to process transactions for thousands of hotels simultaneously, while consistently maintaining sub-second response times.
