Lanting Launches Stay a New Hotel/Hostel Hybrid
LOS ANGELES, CA, October 15, 2008. Lanting Hotel Group, Inc. ("LHG") has launched a new hotel/youth hostel hybrid brand, known as Stay, with the unveiling of a 138-room prototype property in downtown Los Angeles. The company hired designers Catherine Coan and Amy Price to design a boutique lodging facility for the savvy, modern traveler. Stay offers travelers an exciting, youthful lodging alternative, an edgy feel, and a spectrum of available room types.
LHG is a hotel owner and operator based in Los Angeles, California which specializes in the renovation, repositioning and operation of financially-distressed hotels. Over the past 25 years, William Lanting, President of LHG, has successfully rescued many hotels which were in a seriously distressed condition. Most of the projects undertaken by the firm have been closed and/or foreclosed properties which were lacking in funding, direction, and leadership.
