Wickens Signs Sage to Manage Three Hotels in Michigan
DENVER, CO, October 16, 2008. Sage Hospitality, one of the nation's most widely recognized hotel development and management companies, announced they have been selected by The Wickens Group to manage three hotels in the Southern Michigan area. The agreement includes the Courtyard by Marriott Brighton, the Courtyard by Marriott Lansing and a boutique hotel called the Hotel Baronette in Novi, Michigan that will be converting to a Renaissance by Marriott. This brings Sage Hospitality's nationally recognized hotel management and development experience back to Michigan.

The Hotel Baronette, an independent boutique hotel located in Novi, Michigan, is adjacent to the recently expanded Twelve Oaks Mall. Built in 1991, the hotel feature 155 guest rooms, six luxury suites and exclusive rooms on the International Level, a private-access executive floor. Amenities include a fitness center, indoor heated pool, sauna and whirlpool, and more than 5,000 square feet of meeting space.
The Courtyard by Marriott located in Lansing Township and adjacent to the Eastwood Towne Center is convenient to both Lansing and East Lansing with access to the State Capitol and Spartan Stadium at Michigan State University. The Courtyard by Marriott Detroit Brighton is located in Genoa Township and adjacent to the Genoa Woods Conference Center. The 90-room property went through a complete soft goods renovation in 2007. It features high-speed Internet access, large comfortable rooms with data ports, and a business center. There is a fitness center at the hotel that includes a heated indoor pool, Jacuzzi and workout facility.
