SAN DIEGO, CA, October 12, 2005. Real estate investors and developers interested in learning about opportunities for resort development in Mexico will want to mark their calendars to attend, "Resort Development in Mexico: Opportunities for Foreign Investment and Development", a three-day conference being held in San Diego this December 5-7 at the Coronado Island Marriott Resort.

The conference is being presented by Baker & McKenzie, the nation's largest law firm, and Contact Development Corporation, a specialist in resort development in Mexico. In the last 15 years, annual tourism in Mexico has grown from 4 million visitors to more than 20 million visitors. Moreover, for the relatively short time period from 1999-2004, foreign investment into Mexico's tourism industry has totaled approximately US$3.1 billion dollars and continues to trend upward."
