ST. LOUIS, MO, January 30, 2009 - IACC, North American President Tom Cappucci (General Manager at University Place Hotel & Conference Center in Indianapolis, IN) announced the appointment of Aryn Benjamin of Lakewood, Ohio to the role of Board Associate following a comprehensive search of IACC-member properties for appropriate candidates.

Ms. Benjamin, National Account Manager for two Wyndham Hotels, becomes the fourth Board Associate to represent Generation X/Y on the IACC Board of Directors with a focus on indentifying and advising the Board on emerging trends.

According to Cappucci, "Aryn represents precisely what the role demands. She brings a sense of creativity and innovation to the position along with a sharp awareness of emerging technologies, relevant customer experience, and awareness of the expanding role of social networking."

Ms. Benjamin, 28 years old, is a member of Generation Y, defined as the generation following the Baby Boomers and Generation X and born between 1980 and 2000. A graduate of Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, Aryn began her hospitality career at the Front Desk and advanced through Sales to become National Accounts Manager representing Wyndham Miami Airport Hotel & Executive Meeting Center and Wyndham Peachtree Conference Center in Atlanta. She has been active in the Professional Convention Management Association, American Society of Association Executives, and Meetings Professionals International.

The IACC Board Associate has evolved to become a coveted position in the conference center segment among a younger up-and-coming generation eager for a voice in the evolution of the meetings experience. The non-voting, 15-month advisory role will allow Ms. Benjamin the opportunity to advise the Board on developing trends as well as attending and participating in Board meetings. The Board Associate also sits on active committees and task forces such as Emerging Trends, Sustainability and Leadership Development. Ms. Benjamin will attend IACC's 28th annual conference at Chateau Elan in March and will report to the Board on her observations and experiences at the end of her term.
