Horseshoe Bay Names Stuart Fowler, Senior Acct Exec Group Sales

FEBRUARY 4, 2009 - Horseshoe Bay Resort is pleased to welcome Stuart Fowler as senior account executive for group sales. In his new position Fowler will be responsible for sourcing new group leads, relationship building, and managing existing accounts. He will focus on the Houston market, along with other key accounts where Fowler has pre-existing contacts.

"Stuart brings a rolodex full of contacts and a wealth of experience with him to Horseshoe Bay Resort," said Jack Bickart, chief sales officer. "I am thrilled to welcome him to our team, and know Stuart will continue to build a buzz about our resort among the group and meetings market."

Fowler comes to the 7,000-acre Hill Country resort after spending nearly 13 years at Barton Creek Club & Resort in Austin. There he climbed the ranks from golf associate to sales manager, and was recognized with President's Club status twice by ClubCorp, for achieving sales goals of 100 percent or greater for four consecutive quarters. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
