Hal Buckland Joins Wanderlust

Industry veteran leads sales & marketing

APRIL 9, 2009 - Travel marketing and destination branding firm Wanderlust has named Hal Buckland Director of Marketing. A veteran of the tourism industry, Buckland will be responsible for leading the marketing and sales effort at the travel and destination advertising agency.

Prior to joining Wanderlust, Buckland was a partner in Southern Real Estate, a development company with offices in Tennessee and Orlando, Florida. He has worked with The Mexico Tourism Board to increase consumer travel from Canada and North America, served as Economic Resources Director for Volusia County, Florida, Director of Development with Hilton Grand Vacations, Marketing Director with the Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games, and Executive VP of Marketing with Callaway Gardens Resort. Buckland has also served as General Manager at Sea World Travel, Director of Marketing at Sea World of Florida, and in a marketing and program development capacity with Walt Disney World Resorts Division, Alaska Airlines, Delta, America West, Northwest and NASCAR.
