NASHVILLE, TN, November 1, 2005. Capping months of work, a West End office building here that is being converted into a hotel is expected to become a Hotel Indigo, according to a local report.
Atlanta-based Wesley Hotel Group with Nashville-based Lineberry Properties is putting together the lifestyle property at 1717 West End Ave.
Mark Lineberry, a principal in the ownership group, said that demolition is scheduled to start within a week on the building's interior.
Plans call for 140 rooms. Lineberry said that the cost of converting the building is about $6 million.
Japanese restaurant Goten and Quizno's Classic Subs will stay on the ground floor.
Hotel Indigos already operate in Atlanta, Chicago and Houston. Another is planned for Sarasota, FL.
