Travel in Style and Comfort to World Travel Market This Year
LONDON, UK, November 3, 2005. Thames Clippers will be operating The ExCeL Express, for passengers travelling between ExCeL and central London during World Travel Market from Sunday 13 - Thursday 17 November this year. A high-speed catamaran linked to a regular coach shuttle service will ensure those attending World Travel Market are able to travel in style and comfort, with some of the best views of London along the river.
Passengers boarding the Thames Clippers vessels will travel along the Thames and disembark at Canary Wharf pier to catch a shuttle coach direct to ExCeL.
The Excel Express will pick up passengers from Embankment Pier, Blackfriars Pier (close to the bridge on the north side of the river), Bankside Pier (near to the Globe Theatre), London Bridge City Pier (south side of river near Hay's Galleria). and St. Katharine's Pier (next to Tower Bridge on the north side). A shuttle to Canary Wharf will depart from Hilton Docklands (Rotherhithe) from Nelson Dock Pier.
Tickets for the Excel Express are priced at lb6 single and lb10 return. For boats departing from St Katharine's Pier a special WTM fare of lb5 applies and boats departing from Hilton Docklands Rotherhithe will cost lb5 single and lb7 return. The Excel Express Travel Pass offers a 33% discount with the option to purchase a 3 or 5 day pass. A 3 day pass costs lb20 and 5 day lb35.
