ATLANTA, GA, August 31, 2006. Hyatt Aruba Resort and Casino Hyatt has invested $20 million in comprehensive renovations for Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort & Casino in the Caribbean.

The stylish redesign, due for completion in Spring 2007, will be led by Hirsch Bedner Associates. Each of the hotel's 360 spacious guestrooms will be outfitted with new furnishings, modern amenities, fully-renovated bathrooms and Hyatt's signature Grand Beds.

The property's four regal, specialty suites will feature Italian furnishings, leather woven rugs over hard-wood floors and Phillipe Starck bathroom elements, including soaking tubs.

Unique among its Caribbean neighbours for mild temperatures and perennially calm weather, Aruba is renowned as an ultimate, year-round getaway.

A premier property on the island's shores since 1990, the hotel houses an intimate spa, Camp Hyatt for children, a casino, gourmet dining outlets and extensive recreational facilities, including a 3-level pool complex, tennis and basketball courts, a private beach and Aruba's first championship golf course.

NB: Camp Hyatt is a children's club with a difference on offer at a number of Hyatt Resorts in the Caribbean, Hawaii and the continental US. Children aged 3-12 can participate in activities and adventures that focus on the culture, history, and environment surrounding the destination. From hula dancing in Hawaii to searching for authentic Native American arrowheads in Texas, all activities are supervised by trained counselors to ensure a safe and enriching experience.

Hyatthas also been nominated at this year's World Travel Awards in the category of World's Leading Hotel Brand.
