Bradford Allen Unveils Transformed Hyatt Centric Chicago O’hare

USA, Rosemont, Illinois. August 22, 2025

Bradford Allen, a national full-service real estate firm, announced it has opened the Hyatt Centric Chicago O'Hare, a new lifestyle boutique hotel near Chicago O'Hare International Airport and Rivers Casino.

The 206-room hotel debuts at 6350 N. River Road in Rosemont, Ill., following more than $30 million in comprehensive renovations to the former Hyatt Rosemont Chicago/O'Hare, including completely remodeled guest rooms, upgraded common areas and meeting spaces, and the addition of Cima Restaurant, a new upscale Mediterranean-inspired restaurant.

"The Hyatt Centric Chicago O'Hare is a vibrant addition to a prime location that blends sophisticated design and modern amenities to create an exceptional experience for our guests," said Aghfar Arun, executive director, hospitality at Bradford Allen. "Whether you're in town for business, pleasure or just enjoying dinner at Cima, you'll find this hotel experience is unparalleled in Rosemont."

Hyatt Centric is an emerging full-service lifestyle hotel concept from Hyatt Hotels Corporation that combines the attentive service and personalized design of smaller boutiques with the conveniences of large chains, along with immersive local experiences. The concept, which usually averages about 200 rooms per location, aims to appeal to upscale, cosmopolitan guests while also being customizable enough to fit a variety of development sites in attractive locations.

The opening culminates the reimagining of the former Hyatt Rosemont Chicago/O'Hare, which Bradford Allen acquired in 2022, in collaboration with Hyatt, which was hands-on in selecting finishes and custom artwork throughout. Common areas include a fitness center and two banquet rooms with combined capacity of up to 500 people.

New features include an all-glass porte cochere, reconfigured lobby, food and beverage outlets, and private dining spaces. Renovations also included a new roof, fire system, HVAC and building automation systems. Partnerships with Dark Matter Coffee and Molly's Cupcakes bring curated conveniences to the hotel lobby. The fitness center includes new equipment that can connect to streaming services, as well as towels chilled in refrigerators. Guest rooms include a walk-in shower or bathtub. Two new junior suites and a top-floor presidential suite offer scenic views and enhanced guest experience.

Cima Restaurant, a full-service bar and three-meal restaurant, offers a Mediterranean-inspired, chef-driven menu rooted in locally sourced, sustainable ingredients and bright, seasonal flavors. With a refined indoor dining room, a 50-seat patio and versatile private event spaces, it delivers an elevated experience for both hotel guests and local patrons. A thoughtfully curated bar program and calendar of exclusive culinary events further distinguish Cima as the premier dining destination in the area, said Arun.

The Hyatt Centric Chicago O'Hare enjoys a prime location near Rivers Casino, the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center and Fashion Outlets of Chicago. Other guest accommodations include a complimentary airport shuttle, pet amenities, free Wi-Fi and covered parking.

Since launching its hospitality platform in 2022, Bradford Allen has acquired seven hotels totaling about 900 keys. In addition to the Hyatt Centric Chicago O'Hare, the firm currently owns hotel assets in Riverhead, N.Y., on Long Island; the Glendale Sports and Entertainment District in Glendale, Ariz., a suburb of Phoenix; Fishers, Ind., outside Indianapolis; and Iowa City, Iowa, near the University of Iowa campus.
