Ocean Shores Opens New Convention Center
Facility is the only ocean-side convention center in Washington state
OCEAN SHORES, WA, December 13, 2005. Ocean Shores announces the opening of The Ocean Shores Convention Center, the only ocean-side convention facility in Washington state.
The Ocean Shores Convention Center is located in Grays Harbor County in southwest Washington state only 2.5 hours from Seattle. The $20 million, newly-constructed Ocean Shores Convention Center is 29,000-square-feet featuring more than 14,000-square-feet of flexible meeting space and technologically advanced communications and audio/visual equipment offering fast and easy access to the Internet.
Attendees at The Ocean Shores Convention Center can step outside and enjoy the eight-mile long beach along the Pacific Ocean located only one block away. Attendees can also enjoy activities in Ocean Shores including casino gambling, golfing, bird watching, fresh water fishing, canoeing and kayaking, storm watching and whale watching as well as hiking in the nearby Quinault Rain Forest.
