Alfons Walsch Appointed General Manager at the Royal Media Ljubljana Hotel & Casino
LJUBLJANA, Slovenia, December 14, 2005. Alfons Walsch has been appointed General Manager at the Royal Media Ljubljana Hotel & Casino in Ljubljana, Slovenia. In his new role, Walsch will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the 217-room Royal Media Ljubljana Hotel & Casino, encompassing restaurant, wine bar, congress center, beauty center and casino and for ensuring that the quality of service and standards are maintained at the highest level of the hotel brand's expectations.
Walsch joins Domina Hotel Group after 30 years career in the hotel industry spent meanly in management positions with Hilton International. His last role was General Manager for Golden Tulip Hotels based at Hotel Flamenco in Cairo, Egypt.
In addition to his work experience, Walsch is graduated at the Vienna College with a degree in Hotel & Management, speaks four languages and has attended several training courses in strategic selling, F&B and asset management.
