Park Inn Announces Completion of Brand's New Design
MINNEAPOLIS, December 15, 2005. Park Inn, part of Minneapolis-based Carlson Hotels Worldwide, unveiled its bold new design concept with the completion of the brand's first renovation at the 126-room Park Inn (formerly a Holiday Inn) in Brunswick, Ga. The $2 million renovation features a contemporary design with a bold use of color throughout the guest rooms and public areas. This innovative design concept was developed as a platform for Park Inn to emerge as Carlson's newest growth brand.
The new design features the dramatic use of color, texture and pattern in atmosphere is carried into the guest rooms with signature Park Inn touch points such as an upscale bed and shower.
Bed: The signature bed includes an enhanced pillow top inlay pad over a mattress that is of a quality and comfort above the competitive set for Park Inn. The bedding includes sheets which are a 250-thread count standard and a "touch of down" duvet.
Shower/Bath: The bathroom is bright and inviting with light-colored accents and artwork. The towels are thicker and higher in quality than guest expectations in this category. The unique hookless vinyl shower curtain mounted on a crescent-shaped shower curtain rod has a modern design and the distinctive showerhead offers guests a refreshing shower experience. Both are innovative for hotels in this segment.

The Park Inn Brunswick offers the brand's free, Lite on-the-go breakfast, as well as a fun coffee and cocktail bar where guests can enjoy fresh pastries, amenities include an outdoor pool, fitness room, high speed Internet access, 27-inch screen televisions in guest rooms, marketessen, fishing pond, and ample parking. The hotel's central location is convenient for both business and leisure travelers with meeting space to accommodate 500 people.
