Avondale, AZ to Get First Hotels
AVONDALE, AZ, December 30, 2005. The City Council approved plans that would give Avondale its first hotels, the Arizona Republic reports.
Developer Doug Heltne, head of DH Ventures, got the nod to bring a Hilton Homewood Suites and a Hilton Garden Inn to the southeastern corner of Avondale Boulevard and Interstate 10.
