Windsor Capital Group Taps StayOnline as Wireless Provider
StayOnline Continues to Dominate Hospitality Industry Niche
ATLANTA, GA, January 4, 2006. StayOnline, the premier provider of wireless High-Speed Internet Access (HSIA) to the hospitality industry in North America, has been named preferred provider for the Windsor Capital Group (WCG).
Windsor Capital Group, Inc., a privately owned hotel ownership and management company, operates 26 hotels across North America. StayOnline has already installed its state-of-the-art HSIA at four WCG properties, including Courtyard by Marriotts in Modesto, Vacaville and Santa Rosa, California, and at the Port Hueneme Country Inn & Suites in California.
Additionally, StayOnline will retool the HSIA component at 14 WCG properties in the Embassy Suites brand, including the Bellevue, WA; Blue Ash, OH; Brea, CA; Colorado Springs, CO; Denver, CO; El Paso, TX; Las Vegas, NV; Livonia, MI; Lynnwood, WA; Portland, OR; Lompoc, CA; San Luis Obispo, CA; Santa Ana, CA; and Temecula, CA hotels.
"When our previous contract for HSIA for these properties was scheduled for renewal, we realized we wanted to reconfigure the current wired infrastructure to provide us with the best wireless backbone that is available," said Sam Sansone, Vice President of Asset Management for WCG. "We chose the StayOnline solution because they are the wireless market leader and their RF engineering is, quite simply, the best in the industry.
"Our goal is to offer 100% wireless coverage at these properties," he added. "Many of them have unique, challenging layouts and StayOnline offered us the cleanest, most unobtrusive solution. In addition, their flexible network makes future expansion into such areas as energy management systems, point of sale and inventor formats for many areas of the hotel."
StayOnline's contract with WCG is part of the company's aggressive growth strategy. The company will provide wireless HSIA service to the 14 additional properties in guest rooms, meeting rooms and public areas of the hotels, which are primarily marketed to business travelers.
"Another key issue for us was StayOnline's ability to have all of these property installations completed by the end of January," said JT Szczuka, Project Manager - Asset Management for WCG. "They have a tremendous 'on the ground' support team, along with their great reputation for installing a quality solution."
"With our solution at 18 of its properties, Windsor Capital Group will meet the demand of its guests, both today and in the future," said Antonio DiMilia, President and CEO of StayOnline. "We are pleased to add these properties to our rapidly growing portfolio."
