Gordon Companies Opens Hampton Inn in Bennington Vermont
ALBANY, NY, January 6, 2006. The 80-room Hampton Inn Bennington, owned by a family partnership which includes the Albany-based Gordon Companies, opened at 51 Hannaford Square in Bennington Vermont. The new Hampton Inn Bennington is the first new hotel in the city in five years and is the first-ever unit of a nationally-franchised mid-scale hotel. Hampton Inn is part of the Hilton Hotel family. The Bennington hotel will be managed by Ocean Hospitalities, Ltd. The Gordon Companies also recently broke ground for a 96-room Lake Placid (NY) Courtyard by Marriott.
