WTTC Announces Agenda for Worldwide Summit and Panel Discussion
First Time World Travel & Tourism Council Selects U.S. City for Annual Summit
WASHINGTON, DC, January 13, 2006. The World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) will unveil the agenda for its 6th Global Travel & Tourism Summit, convening some of the travel industry's highest-profile executives for a special industry media briefing and panel discussion with the CEOs of the world's leading travel organizations. The announcement will take place on Thursday, January 19, 2006, at the Washington Convention Center. The press conference is sponsored by the Washington, DC Convention & Tourism Corporation.

The World Travel & Tourism Council has selected Washington as the location for its World Travel & Tourism Summit, which will take place April 10-12, 2006. Washington was selected out of a short list of six international destinations. Each year at its annual summit, WTTC convenes the best and brightest in the travel and tourism industry spanning industry executives, government officials and academics.
