Desires Portfolio Grows to Eight Properties

. October 14, 2008

MIAMI, FL, January 23, 2006. Desires HotelsTM, the boutique division of Tecton Hospitality, today announced it has doubled in size in 2005. Desires HotelsTM was launched in January 2005 to provide boutique hotel owners with successful operational and financial management, sales and marketing and human resources services while maintaining their assets' unique identities.

To date, Desires has grown from four boutique properties to eight priorities. The additions included: the 40-room Hotel Astor, the 87-room condo hotel The Strand Ocean Drive and the 61-room Betsy Ross Hotel in Miami Beach, Fla., and the soon-to-be-open 110-room Glenn Hotel in Atlanta, Ga.

"We're pleased how we ended the year with the addition of four new properties to our Desires portfolio," said Raul Leal, the president of Tecton Hospitality. "This year will mark our first entry into the Atlanta market with the addition of the Glenn Hotel and in the Spring, we are gearing up to add our first boutique property in the heart of the theatre district in New York City."

"We have demonstrated to owners that we can drive top and bottom line results while maintaining the design, style and characteristics of their unique assets and that has a lot to do with our growth," said Doug Carrillo, vice president of sales and marketing with Tecton Hospitality.
