New Holiday Inn Going Up in Battle Creek, MI
BATTLE CREEK, MI, January 27, 2006. Work is now under way here on a 120-room, 80,000-sf Holiday Inn hotel that is expected to open in late 2006. Battle Creek Hotel Limited Partnership is the owner and Focus Hospitality Services, LLC will be the manager. The asset will be located at 12812 Harper Village Dr.
The hotel's full-service restaurant will be Kem's Caf'e, a Holiday Inn concept named after its founder, Kemmons Wilson. The hotel will also feature a 1,300-sf indoor pool with a deck, a fitness center, same-day laundry and valet and 5,400 sf of function space.
The property is the first new-build, full-service hotel to be built in Battle Creek in more than 20 years.
